1977 Chevy G20 Van. Sold New at Wise Chevrolet, Randolph Ohio. This poor old van was rescued from the junk yard. it would have been crushed and lost forever. 1977 was the last year for steel grills and thin bumpers. Many builders are swaping them on to newer vans to make them appear older. It has suffered from a 110 volt electrical fire in the right rear. It is still quite solid underneath. I was told the engine was replaced at one time. The engine is black with a few blue parts indicating it is a crate engine. The owner obviously liked his G20 because he added an aluminum intake, a Carter 4 bbl carb and dual exhaust. It has not been started but did crank over. Make no mistake it is a big project. With the rusty patina rat rods all the rage, why not a rat van. Chevy van parts interchange for many years and aftermarket body panels are available. The interior is toast, gut it and start over. There you go, bring a trailer, it will be a great winter project.
